BACHELOR OF SCIENCE WITH EDUCATION


Programme Overview

Bachelor of Science with Education is a collaborative program offered by the Faculty of Science and the Faculty of Education. This degree is a combination of pedagogical courses and science content courses (Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics or Physics).The curriculum was recently revised to cater to the demand of a fast changing and challenging education system. Students will be trained to acquire strong fundamental knowledge of science and mathematics; as well as being exposed to the pedagogical content knowledge.

  • Malaysian citizen
  • Obtain a minimum CGPA of 3.00

Entry Requirements for Matriculation / Foundation (Science Stream)
  • Malaysian citizen
  • Obtain a minimum CGPA of 3.00

  • Obtain a minimum of Band 3.0 in MUET for examinations starting from Session 1 of the year 2021, or Band 3.0 for examinations up to the year 2020, according to the validity period on the date of application
  • Applicants without MUET but with the following results may be considered for conditional admission, provided they fulfil MUET requirement within ONE (1) academic session:
    • Obtain at least Band 4.5 (Academic) in IELTS; or
    • Obtain a minimum score of 33 in TOEFL iBT (Centre-based)
