BACHELOR OF JAPANESE LANGUAGE AND LINGUISTICS


Programme Overview

Produce graduates who master language and linguistics, especially in the field of Japanese language, capable and competitive in career, responsible for society with ethical values, capable of leading, critical thinking, skilled in information management, as well as having the ability in entrepreneurial management. Students are awarded the Bachelor of Japanese Language and Linguistics upon completion of 125 credits of studies.

Additional Requirement

  • Candidates must be physically fit, not suffering from any mental or physical illness, and able to follow the programme of study designed for this course.

English Language Requirements

  • Obtain a minimum of Band 3.0 in MUET (according to validity period on application date)
  • Applicants without MUET but with the following results may be considered for conditional admission, provided they fulfil MUET requirement within ONE (1) academic session:
    • IELTS (Academic) Band 4.5 overall, with at least 6.0 in Writing; or
    • TOEFL iBT (Centre-based) minimum score of 33
