BACHELOR OF EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATION


Programme Overview

The program first established in 1997 with the aim to provide education and professional training for those who are interested to be Early Childhood educators. The curriculum developed for this program comprises of professional knowledge and skills in the field of childcare and early childhood education. This includes the history and philosophy of early childhood education, safety, health and nutrition for holistic early childhood education. The program is accredited by the Malaysian Qualification Agency (MQA/SWA11278) and fulfills the Early Childhood Education program standard

Additional Requirement

  • Candidates who apply must be physically fit, not suffering from any mental, mental health or physical illness and/or disabilities and able to follow the program of study designed for this course.

English Language Requirements

  • Obtain a minimum of Band 3.0 in MUET for examinations starting from Session 1 of the year 2021, or Band 3.0 for examinations up to the year 2020, according to the validity period on the date of application
  • However, applicants without MUET but with the following results may be considered for conditional admission, provided they fulfill the MUET requirement within ONE (1) academic session:
    • obtain at least Band 4.5 (Academic) in IELTS; or
    • Obtain a minimum score of 33 in TOEFL iBT (Centre-based)
