MASTER OF SCIENCE IN CROP PROTECTION Crops need to compete with more than 30,000 weed species, 10,000 different insect pests, and various diseases. About 20-40% reduction of crop yields every season due to these problems. MSc in Crop Protection is the only post graduate program in the country offering a one-year coursework program as a platform for agriculture enthusiast to explore advance knowledge in crop protection through quality education and knowledge exchange with the experts in UM.
This program has strong emphasis on theoretical agronomy with tight engagement with the industry. The industrial attachment at the end of program will give the students opportunity to apply the crop protection theories solving real live problems. MSc in Crop Protection program will prepare the graduates to exhibit expertise and skills in theory, principles and technical aspects of solving problems in crop protection using appropriate scientific methods.
