Programme Overview

Provide a platform for graduates in science, engineering, and related fields, as well as professionals with industry experience, to advance their careers through a master’s degree. This program aims to enhance knowledge, strengthen skills, and develop competitiveness in research and industry, both locally and internationally.


  • Full-Time Duration: 2 Semesters + 1 Semester, (Coursework)

Entry Requirement

General Entry Requirements

For applicants with a CGPA of not less than 3.00:
  • Possess a Bachelor’s Degree with a CGPA of not less than 3.00; or

For applicants with a CGPA of 2.50 – 2.99 (must fulfill at least one of the following):
  • At least one(1) year working experience in a related field; or
  • Publication in a related field; or
  • A Scholarship holder; or
  • UM graduate; or
  • A Government servant; or
  • Pass an interview by Faculty; or
  • Pass a Special evaluation by Faculty.

  • Bachelor’s Degree Qualification: Possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Physics or one of the following - (Science, Applied Science, Applied Physics, Engineering, or Materials Science).
