Programme Overview

Master of Renewable Energy Programme is designed to produce experts in the field of Renewable Energy among local and international students. This program offers opportunity for professional and graduate students with advanced understanding in various core applications in Renewable Energy technology and management.

The programme aims to develop human resources with the knowledge and skills to advance research and development of effective measures to address current energy issues. It also offers an education that is directly relevant to the latest advancements in the Renewable Energy related industry.

Entry Requirement

General Entry Requirements

For applicants with a CGPA of not less that 3.00:

Possess a Bachelor's Degree with a CGPA of not less than 3.00; or

For applicants with a CGPA of 2.50-2.99 (must fulfill at least one of the following):

Graduate from Universiti Malaya; or
Accumulate at least one (1) year of work experience in related fields; or
Produce publications in related field; or
Receive a scholarship; or
Serve as a staff member of a government agency; or
Pass an interview conducted by Faculty; or
Pass a Special evaluation by Faculty.

1. Possess professional qualification from a recognized professional body; or
2. Possess professional qualification approved by Senate from time to time; or
