Programme Overview

The Master of Public Policy (MPP) at the International Institute of Public Policy and Management (INPUMA) offers a unique, globally impactful experience. Our programme focuses on policy labs, country study visits, and an interdisciplinary approach, connecting you to a diverse network of policy professionals. Public policy is vital for creating and implementing regulations that affect the public. The MPP at INPUMA provides a comprehensive understanding of executive, legislative, and administrative processes, equipping you to analyse and develop sustainable public policies and engage stakeholders in the policy cycle.


Full-Time Duration: 3 Semesters (Coursework / 42 Credits Hour)

Entry Requirement

General Entry Requirements
  • For applicants with a CGPA of not less than 3.00:
    • Possess a Bachelor’s Degree with a CGPA of not less than 3.00; or
  • For applicants with a CGPA of 2.50 – 2.99 (must fulfill at least one of the following): 
    • Graduate from Universiti Malaya; or
    • Accumulate at least one (1) year of work experience in related fields; or
    • Produce publications in related field; or
    • Receive a scholarship; or
    • Serve as a staff member of a government agency; or
    • Pass an interview conducted by the Faculty; or
    • Pass a special evaluation by the Faculty
