This programme offered with 42 credits and the duration of the course is three (3) semesters minimum and eight (8) semesters maximum.
Candidates will be able to understand and analyze advanced theory of music in classical music as well as contemporary music which will help in research of analytical writing skill. Candidates will also able to discuss critically issues pertaining to music education and pedagogy. Candidates also have the opportunity to learn the technique of composing, knowledge of using the computer and studio at a higher level, ethnomusicology, and music production.
