Possess a Bachelor’s Degree with a CGPA of not less than 3.00; or
For applicants with a CGPA of 2.50 – 2.99 (must fulfill at least one of the following):
Graduate from University Malaya; or
Accumulate at least one (1) year of work experience in related fields; or
Produce publications in related field; or
Receive a scholarship; or
Serve as a staff member of a government agency; or
Pass an interview conducted by Faculty; or
Pass a Special evaluation by Faculty.

Related Fields: Islamic Education, Islamic Studies and Arabic Language are subject to have a basic Islamic Education
Special Requirements:
Applicants with a Bachelor's Degree in related field (Islamic Education, Islamic Studies and Arabic Language are subject to having a basic Islamic Education) (CGPA: ≥ 3.00)
Must fulfill at least ONE of the following criteria:
Possessed a Postgraduate Diploma in Education (minimum CGPA 3.00); or
Teaching Qualification recognized by the university; or
At least one (1) year teaching experience in a related field; or
Professional qualification from a recognized professional body; or
Other qualifications approved by the Senate from time to time
OR
Applicants with a Bachelor of Education or Bachelor's Degree with Education in the field of Islamic Education, Islamic Studies(CGPA: 2.70 - 2.99)
Must fulfill at least ONE of the following criteria:
UM graduate; or
At least two (2) years teaching experience in a related field; or
Professional qualification from a recognized professional body; or
Published in a related field; or
A Scholarship holder; or
A Government servant; or
Pass an interview by PTj; or
Pass a Special Assessment PTj; or

Applicants with a Bachelor of Education or Bachelor's Degree with Education in the field of Islamic Education, Islamic Studies (CGPA: 2.50 - 2.69)
