Programme Overview

The Foundation of Islamic Studies and Science Program is a full time Pre-University Program governed under the Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Education. The duration of the program is two (2) semesters.

Entry Requirement

Entry Requirements for SPM
  • Pass the Malaysian Certificate of Education (SPM) with at least five (5) credits including the subject Bahasa Melayu and a pass in the subject History.
  • Obtain at least a Grade B in any four (4) of the following subjects:
    • Arabic Language / Advanced Arabic Language / Arabic Turath / Al-lughah Al-arabiah Al-mu'asirah
    • English Language
    • Mathematics
    • Additional Mathematics
  • Obtain at least a Grade B in any one (1) of the following subjects:
    • Islamic Education / Turath Dirasat Al-Islamiah
    • Al-Quran and Al-Sunnah Education / Maharat Al-Quran / Al-Syariah / Turath Al-Quran wa Al-Sunnah 
    • Islamic Shariah Education / Hifz al-Quran / Usul al-Din 
    • Tasawwur Islam;
    • Al-Manahij Al-Ulum Al-Islami
    • Al-Adab wa Al-Balaghah
  •  Obtain at least a Grade B in any three (3) of the following subjects:
    • Physics
    • Chemistry
    • Biology
    • Agriculture / Computer Science / Engineering Drawing / Fundamentals of Sustainability / Technical Communication Graphics / Home Science
    • Principles of Accounting / Economics / Business / Geography / Communicative Malay Literature / English Literature / Entrepreneurship Studies
