Programme Overview
The program objective is to produce doctoral graduates in the field of education who are capable in the intellectual and professional sense to function effectively in raising the quality of their academic and professional fields in their specializations in the intellectual community and local as well as international community.

Possess a Master's Degree by Coursework or Mixed Mode with a CGPA of no less than 3.00; OR;
Possess a Master's Degree by Coursework or Mixed Mode with a CGPA 2.50 to 2.99 subject to fulfilling at least one (1) of the following criteria:
At least one (1) year working experience in a related field; or
Publication in a related field; or
A Scholarship holder; or
UM Graduate; or
A Government servant; or
Pass an interview by Faculty; or
Pass a Special Assessment by Faculty
Possess a Bachelor's Degree through the Accreditation of Prior Experiential Learning for Access (APEL.A) and other qualifications approved by the Senate

Applicants with a Master's Degree (by Coursework or Mixed mode) with a CGPA between 2.00 to 3.69 and a Bachelor's Degree with a CGPA between 2.50 to 2.99
Must fulfill at least ONE of the following criteria:
At least three (3) years of work experience in related field; or
Published in a related field; or
A scholarship holder; or
A Government servant; or
Pass an interview by PTj; or
Pass a Special Assessment by PTj.
