Programme Overview

This programme will provide students with the skills and knowledge which will enable them to understand the underlying theories and developments of modern accounting in today’s complex businesses. This programme will develop students’ competencies with an in-depth knowledge of accounting aspects which include financial and management accounting, taxation, auditing and business law.

Entry Requirement

Entry Requirements for SPM
  • Pass SPM with minimum of 3 credits in any subjects
  • Pass English Language subject at SPM level
  • Pass Mathematics subject at SPM level
Entry Requirements for IGCSE
  • Pass IGCSE or its equivalent by obtaining at least Grade C in 3 core subjects: English, Mathematics and Science
Entry Requirements for STPM
  • Pass Sijil Tinggi Pelajaran Malaysia (STPM) or equivalent by obtaining at least Grade C in any subject
Entry Requirements for STAM
  • Pass Sijil Tinggi Agama Malaysia (STAM) with a minimum Maqbul ranking
Entry Requirements for Malaysian Skills Certificate (SKM) Level 3
  • Pass the Malaysian Skills Certificate (SKM) Level 3 in a related field and pass SPM with at least 1 credit in any subject
Entry Requirements for Certification (Level 3, MQF)  
  • Certification Level 3, MQF or its equivalent 
Entry Requirements for O-Levels or equivalent
  • Passed the General Certificate of Education 'O' Level or equivalent or other qualifications acknowledged by the Senate

AND

English Requirements 
  • Obtained the following results in any one of the English Language competency exams stated below:  
    • A minimum Band 2 in the Malaysian University English Test (MUET);
    • A minimum Band 4.0 in the International English Language Testing System (IELTS)/CERF A2;
    • A minimum score of 397 (PBT) or 30-31 (IBT) for the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL);
    • CAE (160) (Cambridge English: Advance) CEFR B2;
    • CPE (180) (Cambriged English: Profiency) CEFR C1;
